On September 25, the CARW Class of 2019 toasted to a year of hard work, learning, and relationship building. The event took place on the rooftop of EUA in Milwaukee’s
Third Ward. They were joined by a number of the program’s speakers, moderators, and leadership from CARW. Nicole Martin led the presentation. When asked for comments about the NextGen program, people said that they made invaluable connections with industry leaders they wouldn’t have otherwise met; learned from the best of the best in the industry; and discovered the depth and breadth of the commercial real estate industry. On September 4, the CARW NextGen class finished out their year of sessions with a panel of professionals in property management. Huge thanks to Margaret Gehring with CBRE, Rick Stoll with Colliers International, and Sherry King with Tishman Speyer for sharing their knowledge and expertise. Moderator Joe Lak with Colliers International led captivating discussions with the group. The panelists and NextGenR’s discussed the most challenging and rewarding aspects of their job, evolution in the industry, the importance of relationships with people, war stories involving cockroaches….and much more!
