SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will provide a variety of maintenance and repair services to commercial office buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Proficient level of skill to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and other equipment as assigned per established procedures including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, testing, flushing, minor repairs, rebuilding and replacing parts/components to ensure that systems remain within the established operating parameters.
· Responds to building tenant issues in a timely and professional manner and takes appropriate corrective action. Keeps requester appraised of the status of corrective action.
· Performs routine general maintenance including painting, plumbing, carpentry, equipment testing and repair, ventilation, lighting, electrical, groundskeeping and snow removal. Performs repairs on a large variety of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, building systems and other critical systems with moderate level of guidance/supervision.
· Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
· Document work performed, including time, materials, and description.
· Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
· Follow maintenance procedures and make recommendations for improved facility maintenance.
· Be able to respond to emergencies during and outside of regular working hours.
· Other duties as assigned.
