Tax increment financing (TIF) continues to play a major role in commercial real estate development across Wisconsin. Join us for a practical overview of how TIF and tax incremental districts (TIDs) work, when they are used, and what commercial real estate professionals should know when navigating transactions involving public incentives, redevelopment, and municipal partnerships.
This continuing education session, presented by Melissa Hunt of WEDA, will provide real-world context, key legal considerations, and practical takeaways for recognizing opportunities and asking the right questions during a deal.

Note that there is no fee to attend, however, if a registrant does not cancel within 48 hours or is a no-show, a $25 fee will be assessed. Note that the mandatory CE (12 hours) will be offered online by WRA. Courses must be completed by December 15th, 2026.
