We have recently acquired and have electronically added tenant data to the Exchange system. The data stems from a reputable 3rd party source and carries a star rating system. The star rating represents the timeline of the last period a tenant was verified to have occupancy in the building. The baseline data from the 3rd party source is known as being imperfect and we are actively reviewing and updating the baseline data for accuracy.
Star rating per tenant name explained:
- 4-5 stars represent a more recent verification that the tenant is occupying space in the building. The verification was had by our own Exchange researchers; Exchange Members; REDI Appraiser members; a recent lease comp, or a web/web map search that lists the tenant in the building.
- 2-3 stars represents a less recent verification and from information found from the Better Business Bureau, web/web map search that lists the tenant in the building, or historical data from other various public sources tying the tenant to the building at one point in time.
- 1 star is unverified and only sourced by the 3rd party tenant name provider.
Tenants will never be deleted from the property record. They will only be suppressed if they are no longer in the property. This allows the tracking of tenant movements based on business categories.
If you find a property which needs tenant name updating, please generate a .xls, or .pdf tenant report from the Exchange system, mark up or note the changes, email it to [email protected] and we will update asap.
