To maintain real estate licenses in the state of Wisconsin, real estate licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years, as required by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).
Instead of six three-hour CE courses as with past biennia, the 2023-24 CE curriculum now consists of individual one-hour courses to meet the 18-hour credit requirement, comprised of 12 mandatory courses and 6 elective courses. Once this is completed, members must complete the license renewal with DSPS by December 14th.
The renewal window is open and there is a new LicensE portal on the DSPS website. If you have taken CE with the WRA, you will find that your courses are automatically added to the LicensE portal. Watch the step-by-step video above to learn more about the renewal process.
