About Matt Moroney: Matt Moroney serves as the strategic economic initiatives director at the Wisconsin Department of Administration, where he leads the coordination effort between federal agencies, state agencies, and local communities related to Foxconn’s historic investment in the State of Wisconsin. Prior to his current role as strategic economic initiatives director, Matt served as Governor Walker’s deputy chief of staff for operations providing oversight of state agency operations, efficiency efforts, and policy development. Matt has also served as deputy secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and as executive director of the Metropolitan Builders Association of Greater Milwaukee. He received his bachelor’s degree from Loras College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa.
