On Thursday, June 1, Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery hosted the UWM Lubar School of Business Alumni Chapter 2017 Signature Event. Moderated by Tracy Johnson, President & CEO of CARW, the event focused on a look into the past, a conversation on the present, and a glance into the future of Milwaukee’s revitalization of the former Pabst Brewery landscape.
The discussion was met by Milwaukee professionals on development: John Kersey, Executive Vice President, Zilber, Ltd; Scott Lurie, Owner, F Street Investments, LLC; Matt Dorner, Economic Development Director, Milwaukee Downtown; Michael Kelly, Executive Vice President, Blue Ribbon Management. Panelists gave personal takes on the historical and visionary aspects of past and present projects that have been monumental to the city of Milwaukee, highlighting the prestige surrounding the regeneration of the former Pabst landscape. The discussion gave us an exciting look forward, and inspiration for what still can be done in our city.
