In the past legislative session, the Wisconsin legislature passed AB547 also known as the Wetland Reform Bill. This bill addressed difficultaies with non-navigable, isolated wetlands in the state of Wisconsin that members of CARW and WRA had been advocating for to ease regulatory burden during the site selection and development process. There have been a number of concrete cases where this new legislation has helped members of the association.
