Mark Seidl
Project Manager
Pinnacle Engineering Group
I attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee from 2010-2014 with the intention of becoming a civil engineer with an emphasis in structural engineering. I quickly learned that I hated structural engineering and changed my emphasis to transportation with the intent to learn as much as possible about civil engineering so once out of school I could participate in different aspects of the industry.
During School I interned at Payne & Dolan which is arguably the largest road contractor in Wisconsin. While at P&D, I was assigned different roles each summer as: laborer, quality control, & project management. I learned firsthand how small mistakes can affect those around you and cost a company a ton of money. After graduating from UWM, I took a staff engineering position with KEY Engineering group, which is in downtown Milwaukee. There I learned about land development and quickly fell in love with it. I spent approximately 2 years there before I went to Pinnacle Engineering Group, which is my current employer. While at PEG, I have learned from countless others and grown immensely as an individual.
When I found out I was selected for NextGen, I couldn’t be happier. I see this program as a valuable tool to help me learn more about the real estate industry. Like anyone, we can become immersed in what we do personally, and forget about everyone else in the industry and how they are instrumental to each other. I hope to learn from the established professionals and further develop on a personal and professional level.
