6 Questions with Kyle
Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: Right now, Milwaukee is experiencing an economic renaissance, and there is so much to be excited about! My personal favorite projects are the Komatsu and MICHELS developments in the Harbor District. The work that has been done to remediate and rebuild those historically contaminated sites from the ground up is truly astounding!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: On special occasions, I’m a big fan of Five O’Clock Steakhouse on State St. However, you’re more likely to find me at Steny’s on Wing Night. “You should be there!”
Q: What made you choose commercial real estate?
A: To be honest, I sort of blindly chose commercial real estate. I had a lot of people around me telling me that brokerage would be a great fit and that I had the personality and drive for it. I don’t think those people were wrong! From the minute I stepped foot in Colliers, I quickly fell in love with my career. So much so that I can’t imagine doing anything else and often ask myself what took me this long!
Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: COMMUNITY. CARW is a community of like minded professionals who are extraordinarily passionate about Milwaukee and full of people who want to continue moving Milwaukee, and Wisconsin as a whole, forward.
Q: What is your biggest takeaway from our NextGen meetings?
A: As a broker, I have a responsibility to my clients to provide the best solutions and the highest quality of service to all of their real estate needs, no matter the issue or size. The NextGen program has provided me with a terrific baseline of knowledge regarding all facets of commercial real estate. However, it doesn’t stop there. NextGen has opened up my network to industry leaders so that when I don’t have the answers I need right away, I am a single phone call away from someone who does. The NextGen program has provided me with immeasurable knowledge and resources to add value to all of my clients.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: I would always choose to have lunch with my Dad. I owe everything to my family for guiding me through life and making sure I had every opportunity available to me. I would not be in this program if it weren’t for their sacrifice and commitment to my future.
