Kathryn Skelton is a Development Analyst with Bear Development. Kathryn’s involvement in development projects and commercial acquisitions includes financial analysis, due diligence, entitlements, and construction phasing. She has experience working across a variety of property types including market-rate multifamily, retail, office, and industrial developments. Prior to joining Bear, Kathryn worked as a real estate and facilities intern for financial services firm in the Milwaukee area. Kathryn earned a B.B.A. in Real Estate from Marquette University. Kathryn is also currently getting her MBA from Marquette University.
Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I love that every day is different and I get exposure to many different facets of the industry.

A) Hartland, Wisconsin
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Colorado to go snowboarding!
Q) What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A) My parents are in real estate and I remember following my dad around properties. He would make me patch dry wall or remove carpet, and when I was able to see the transformation of space of the start to finish of a build-out I knew I wanted to go into the same field.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I hope to make long-term connections with others that share the passion I have for real estate as well as take a deeper dive into the education NextGen will offer in the various facets of real estate.
