Kathleen is an engineer with 7 years of experience working in energy and sustainability. She is focused on helping organizations better align their business practices with sustainable development, improve built environments and mitigate future risks. Kathleen is also a real estate investor in Milwaukee and holds her real estate broker’s license. She is active in the local community, serving on the Wisconsin USGBC Market Leadership Advisory Board, member of rotaract, and is a past president of the Wisconsin ASHRAE chapter.
Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) My favorite part about commercial real estate is seeing the transformation of buildings from vacant run-down buildings or land to vibrant, beautiful spaces where people come together.
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I grew up in southeastern Wisconsin moving between Milwaukee, Beloit, and Madison.
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) I enjoy traveling to just about any location, some of my favorites are the boundry waters and Vietnam.
Q) Which projects are you involved in/most excited about?
A) I am excited to see the increase in mass timber and sustainable buildings here in Milwaukee including the world’s tallest mass timber building!
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I am excited to meet, learn and collaborate with local leaders in the commercial real estate space.
