Joe started with Colliers in May 2021, joining the industrial team. As an industrial advisor, Joe assists clients to find new locations, renewing existing leases, and delivering current and reliable market data. Since starting with Colliers, Joe has been a part of over 1,000,000 square feet of transactions, across the state of Wisconsin.
Joe is a graduate of Xavier University’s Williams College of Business in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he studied finance.
Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I enjoy Commercial Real Estate because we can change an entire city – from the buildings we build and the companies, we attract. This industry has some of the greatest opportunities to transform an entire landscape.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) The most valuable resource you have is time.
Q) What is your favorite quote?
A) “Ideas are cheap. Ideas are easy. Ideas are common. Everybody has ideas. Ideas are highly, highly overvalued. Execution is all that matters.” – Casey Neistat
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) Right here in Milwaukee, WI
Q) What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A) PBS Kids – I grew up without cable TV or any video games, so PBS Kids was the next-best alternative
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Colorado
Q) Which projects are you involved in/most excited about?
A) The continued redevelopment of the R1VER district.
Q) If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A) Arnold Palmer
Q) What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A) Commercial Real Estate was a family affair, with multiple family members involved in one way or another. CRE was a logical career path, and one I had grown up involved in.
Q) What is a goal you would like to accomplish within your Commercial Real Estate career?
A) Be a part of a project that in 50+ years, people still look at and admire.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) Connecting with young professionals in commercial real estate, and hearing their opinions and ideas.
