Joe has over 11 years of construction experience, as well as being a 5th generation builder, he has worked with some of the largest construction firms in the United States. He has experience with all phases of a construction project, including estimating, preconstruction, project management, and project closeout. Since graduating from the College of Architecture Design and Construction at Auburn University with a degree in Building Science, Joe worked as a Senior Project Engineer for The Beck Group and Harwood International in Dallas, Texas. In his role as Project Manager, Joe oversees all facets of projects including the physical construction, schedule, required reports, and financial aspects as well as interacting with architects, engineers, tradesmen, subcontractors, and owners.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) Ignore outside noise, keep your head down, and keep working hard.

Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin and attended Arrowhead High School.
Q) What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A) Skate Land (RIP), Pokemon, Abercrombie
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Sanibel, Florida.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I’m hoping to get a better understanding of what all other parties’ expectations and needs are when establishing a new project, and what I can do to better assist them as a builder and developer. I am also really looking forward to getting an opportunity to connect with young professionals and continue growing a network of talented people.
