Heather Dorfler is a Financial Analyst in the CBRE Milwaukee office as part of the Capital Markets Investment Properties group. Her focus is on market and property research, valuation and financial analysis of real estate assets, in addition to her support with the due diligence process. Heather conducts her work involving many different clients and all asset classes including; retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and land.
Prior to joining CBRE, Heather graduated cum laude in 2019 from Marquette University’s Business School in Commercial Real Estate and Finance as well as interned at a wealth management firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that managed approximately $2 billion in brokerage assets and $1 billion in advisory assets. She is excited to be a part of the 2020 CARW NextGen Program to gain knowledge in other commercial real estate sectors, grow her network, and gain confidence in the industry.

Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: The project I’m most excited about is the Ascent Tower – New Land’s mass timber apartment building in Downtown Milwaukee which could become North America’s tallest mass timber building!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Carnevor – My birthday pick!
Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: I chose CRE because the asset is a huge part of our everyday lives and we have the ability to improve the communities we live in through real estate.
Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: The word “Community” comes to mind when I think of CARW– The people and support network that CARW provides is invaluable.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: Joanna Gaines – I admire her eye for design and her expertise to redevelop a rundown town into a booming up-and-coming market.
