Heather Dorfler is a Capital Markets Advisor with the Investment Services Brokerage Group in Milwaukee, WI. She works closely with the brokers on business development, current listings, new initiatives, and broker opinion of values. Heather’s primary focus is on retail and net lease assets. She focuses on building relationships with new and existing clients and looks for opportunities that align with their real estate investment strategy.

Prior to joining Colliers, she was a Financial Analyst on CBRE’s Investment Team in Milwaukee where her focus was on market and property research, valuation and financial analysis of various real estate assets.

Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: The project I’m most excited about is the Ascent Tower – New ­­­­­­Land’s mass timber apartment building in Downtown Milwaukee which could become North America’s tallest mass timber building!

Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Carnevor – My birthday pick!

Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: I chose CRE because the asset is a huge part of our everyday lives and we have the ability to improve the communities we live in through real estate.

Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: The word “Community” comes to mind when I think of CARW– The people and support network that CARW provides is invaluable.

Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be? 
A: Joanna Gaines – I admire her eye for design and her expertise to redevelop a rundown town into a booming up-and-coming market.
