As a Real Estate & Development attorney at Husch Blackwell, Haley dedicates her practice to serving an array of clients by advising them on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development of commercial, industrial, retail, and multifamily real estate. Her holistic approach to counseling clients in real estate transactions is informed by her previous experience in private practice, which, in addition to commercial and residential real estate, included business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.

Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) What I enjoy most about commercial real estate is being able to support our clients in their endeavors to create a lasting impact on the surrounding communities, whether it is developing a gathering place for people to share food and experiences, or hotels and apartment buildings that will provide sanctuary to locals and visitors, who can feel right at home here in Milwaukee.

Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) The best professional advice I have received is to maintain my curiosity by keeping an open mind and never be afraid to ask questions. This has helped me delve into the intricacies of a real estate practice while fostering relationships with peers and partners by opening a dialogue.

Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I am very proud to share that I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, which has not only the best kringle in the State but is also home to numerous global companies that support the community through both employment and philanthropic endeavors.

Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Rome, Italy, specifically the Trastevere neighborhood, which has some of the best food and atmosphere that I have had the privilege to experience!

Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I am looking forward to learning from the leading voices in the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate industry to draw on their expertise and guidance, all while building relationships with my peers, across all CRE sectors, who share in my hunger for knowledge, experience, and growth. It is a privilege to connect with others who are of like mind and desire to support their clients’ ventures. We serve a vibrant city that is bustling with new development and restoration projects, and I hope that through the NextGen program, the relationships built will continue to contribute to Milwaukee’s success.
