Gregory Anderson
Investment Sales Advisor
Colliers
My name is Greg Anderson and I am an Investment Sales Advisor at Colliers, with a primary focus on multi-family dispositions/acquisitions and land development. I graduated from Marquette University in 2019 with a double major in Real Estate and Finance. Sandwiched between my internship at Colliers in 2018 and my full-time, current role in 2024, I ran a boutique real estate investment firm specializing in value-added residential real estate through Milwaukee; I still own a small portfolio that continues to expand. I am initially from Tucson, Arizona and spent my younger years playing the national junior tennis circuit that eventually led to playing college tennis at both TCU and Marquette University, followed by a brief stint of professional tournaments in Portugal and Belgium post-graduation. Outside of tennis, I enjoy golfing, playing Padel, and Platform tennis, and taking my Aussiedoodle, Wilson, on walks. I’m also an avid traveler with many national parks, countries across Europe, and a 10-day trek in the Himalayas already checked off the list!
Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I enjoy the varying nuances each deal brings. Since no two deals are the same, I find it paramount to tackle challenges from a growth mindset with a solution-oriented approach. Otherwise, I enjoy talking to other real estate professionals and connecting over Milwaukee and Wisconsin real estate.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) Real estate is like a moving train, each day you have an opportunity to jump on the train, and there are always more trains (opportunities) on the horizon.
Q) What is your favorite quote?
A) “Whether you think that you can, or that you can’t… you’re right” – Henry Ford
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) Initially Tucson, Arizona then tennis took me to Scottsdale Arizona at 10 y.o, Delray Beach, Florida at 15 y.o., Fort Wort, Texas at 19 y.o., then Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I landed at Marquette University. All-over the board!
Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Italy! Specifically Florence and Tuscany.
Q) If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A) Marcus Lemonis
Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I hope to connect and level-up with other like-minded commercial real estate professionals in the area. Hopefully the connections turn into career long relationships!
