Emily Streff
Associate Project Manager
Milwaukee County Economic Development
Currently, I am employed at Milwaukee County where I’ve joined their Economic Development team. I handle the management and disposition of all of Milwaukee County’s surplus land excluding the city of Milwaukee. I graduated and earned my bachelor’s degree from UW Oshkosh in May 2017 with a double major in Political Science and Economics and a minor in Spanish. I have also obtained my Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and I also hold a Wisconsin real estate salesperson license.
Through these opportunities, I have acquired valuable professional skills in multi-tasking, research and analysis, and effective verbal and written communication. I have a strong desire to learn more about the real estate industry and grow in the position I am in. In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as hard-working by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
I love that each day in my position is never the same. I like to challenge myself and aim to create value for Milwaukee County.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and working towards my black belt in taekwondo.
I’m always interested in hearing from fellow colleagues, coworkers, managers, or just creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
