Emily joined Mid-America Real Estate – Wisconsin, LLC as a Broker Associate in the Asset Advisory Group in June of 2021. She specializes in the leasing of specialty retail and power-anchored shopping centers. Some of her responsibilities include conducting market analyses, presenting sites to national and local retailers, and developing relationships with prospective clients. Emily is a Wisconsin native who provides her knowledge of trends, shopping patterns, and retailer performances throughout the state. Prior to working at Mid-America Real Estate, Emily was an intern with Immel Construction where she developed her retail general contracting knowledge while in school at Indiana University – Bloomington.

Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I enjoy the range of people we get to meet. On any given day you could be talking with successful developers, lenders, people who are first-time business owners, and brokers in different cities across the state. I also like that at the end of the day, we’re all working together for the betterment of the community.

Q) What is your favorite quote?
A) Live your life so that you’ll have no regrets.

Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Go Pack Go!

Q) What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A) Probably to our family cottage in Crandon, WI.

Q) Which projects are you involved in/most excited about?
A) I’m excited to see the new developments in Westown! Between Kohls, Fiserv headquarters, and the Iron District, there’s a lot going on in the area that will be great for downtown Milwaukee.

Q) If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A) Rory McIllroy.

Q) What do you hope to get out of your NextGen Experience?
A) I hope to learn from my peer’s perspectives and stories as well as grow my network with other professionals in the industry.
