David Baker

David is currently the Acquisitions & Dispositions Manager with Hendricks Commercial Real Estate. Prior to his time at Hendricks, David was a Broker with Mid-America Real Estate – Wisconsin, L.L.C. and a member of the Property Representation and Sales Team. Mr. Baker’s responsibilities include land and asset sales and retail leasing. He coordinates with Mid-America Real Estate’s clients’ excess land dispositions and is actively involved in the leasing of specialty retail, neighborhood, community, and power-based shopping centers within the Mid-America client portfolio. David is a Wisconsin native, which provides him knowledge of history, trends, retailer performance, and shopping patterns throughout the state.
Prior to joining Mid-America Real Estate in April of 2018, David was an Account Executive for Catalyst Exhibits, a Wisconsin-based exhibit and marketing company. His sales experience at Catalyst allowed him to gain insight into multiple industries, including retail, consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, automotive, and others.
Mr. Baker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is currently an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), ChainLinks Retail Advisors, and the Commercial Association of Realtors-Wisconsin (CARW).

Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: The Deer District and Komatsu Mining. There are many others that come to mind, but these are exciting examples of the changing landscape in Milwaukee that showcase what our city can offer.

A: Bavette La Boucherie in the Third Ward
Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: Growing up around multiple family members in the brokerage and property management world sparked my interest in the industry from a young age.
Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: Passionate.
