Dan Winterrose is a Real Estate Associate for SARA Investment Real Estate. He is responsible for underwriting potential investment opportunities by creating in-depth financial models and conducting extensive market research to verify the economic viability of possible acquisitions. Additionally, he executes complex analytical modeling of SARA’s portfolio, determining the management and disposition of assets.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Business Administration with majors in Real Estate & Finance.

5 Questions with Daniel

Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: I am looking forward to seeing the Harbor District’s redevelopment. Between Komatsu’s HQ, Michels Corp’s River 1 project, and Mandel Group’s Harbor Yards, the entire dynamic of that area is going to change once the projects are completed.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: Tipsy Cow- Madison, WI

Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: After realizing my Junior year that accounting wasn’t for me, I looked into CRE. Being surrounded by friends who were majoring in Real Estate and it is ranked a top-tier program at UW-Madison, it sparked my interest to take an intro class. After that class, the rest is history.

Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: Network. CARW is filled with very talented individuals that are all trying to expand their reach and impact.

Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be? 
A: Tiger Woods- No one has impacted a sport more than him and I would love to get lessons on how to improve my golf game.
