Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) Commercial real estate allows me to use my talents to impact my community. As I drive through the Milwaukee metropolitan area, I can see the different transactions I’ve been a part of make a positive impact on the community.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) The best advice I received was from my clinical professor in law school. She always told us to be intentional with our decisions. Life can get very busy, so making sure I do each deal, event, etc. with purpose makes sure I’m advancing my goals appropriately.
Q) Where did you grow up?
A) I grew up in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
Q) What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A) Heelys (tennis shoes that had retractable wheels on the sole).
Q) What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A) Commercial real estate, especially the legal side, is a multifaceted practice. I can work on a wide variety of transactions and expand my knowledge of the field. In my four short years of practice, I’ve been part of commercial lease negotiations representing both landlords and tenants, syndicated construction loans as lead agent and co-lender, development projects, acquisitions and sales.
