Brock is now a Property Manager with Phoenix Investors. Brock started his career in commercial real estate with Ogden & Co. as a broker intern in January 2018 and started working in commercial brokerage and property management in June 2018. Having a diversified portfolio of listings along with property management duties has allowed Brock to become a well-rounded commercial real estate professional. He is excited to be a part of the 2020 NextGen class because of the opportunity to network with other young professionals and hear from industry leaders from different sectors of the business. Brock graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2018 with bachelors in finance and a certificate in real estate. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, golf, trying new restaurants, and staying active.
5 Questions with Brock
Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: I am a huge Bucks fan therefore I have loved watching the Deer District take shape. I believe this is a great opportunity for all citizens of Milwaukee because of the variety of events that are hosted on the entertainment block.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: La Masa or Thainamite
Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: I have always been interested in real estate. After I took my first real estate class at UW-Milwaukee with instructor Jeff Rymaszewski, I knew I wanted to pursue real estate as a career. I started interning at Ogden my final year of college and fell in love the business. Every day I get to interact with professionals from different backgrounds and thought processes than my own, which makes it really special. All of us care about Milwaukee and want it to be the best it can be!
Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: The word community comes to my mind when I think of CARW. CARW has such a rich knowledge base and everyone is willing to help each other.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: I would choose lunch with my father. He is the most selfless man I have ever met. He and my mom have provided my siblings and I the tools that we need to be successful in life and I am forever grateful for their support!
