Brian Flood
Commercial Real Estate Broker
Founders 3
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2015, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communications and a minor in Economics.
My first job out of college was at PAX Holdings LLC, a single-source provider of packaging design, manufacturing, procurement, project and supply chain management. I played a substantial role in helping to launch a new digital marketing department called SOMA (stood for Social Marketing) before transitioning into a sales role for the distribution arm, Pioneer Packaging. I worked there until starting at Founders 3 in May of 2019, where I began as a Broker Trainee/Research Analyst. Since then, I have obtained my Real Estate Salesperson License and am an Industrial Broker for F3.
I am very excited to be a NextGen’r because I believe the program will provide me a wonderful opportunity to connect with the other brokers that are establishing themselves in the real estate industry here in Milwaukee. I will hopefully be working with many if not all of them for a long time to come. In addition, I look forward to meeting the movers and shakers in the industry, and obtain some key takeaways that will help shape my career going forward.
5 Questions with Brian
Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: Ascent mass timber tower that is beginning construction soon. With the possibility of becoming North America’s tallest mass timber building, it should draw positive attention to Milwaukee while adding to our growing skyline.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: La Masa. Living right off Brady Street, La Masa is a very convenient lunch/dinner spot that is very affordable and delicious! It is even better in the summer months to be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and liveliness of Brady St.
Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: I chose CRE because I found from my previous work experience that I enjoyed sales and that there was an opportunity to work with a more intriguing product in this industry. I love that there’s a history behind each building with many different potential end uses. What most interested me, however, was the opportunity to be a part of the growth of the city I love and grew up in.
Q: What is one word that comes to mind when you think of CARW?
A: Connectivity.
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: Brett Favre. He was my idol growing up and the reason I played football as a kid and into high school. I think it would be a very laid back lunch with lots of laughs.
