As project development manager for Gilbane Building Company, Andre Ghelfi-Thomas is dedicated to expanding Gilbane’sbusiness throughout Wisconsin. With over a decade years of experience in the construction industry, Andre collaborates with operational team members to strengthen client relationships and cultivate new business opportunities throughout Wisconsin and beyond.
Before joining Gilbane, Andre served as a project manager, primarily focusing on the healthcare, higher education, and industrial markets. He managed the Children’s Wisconsin portfolio, overseeing new and renovation projects ranging from $100K–$20M. Additionally, he directed the renovation of four student and community dental clinics at Marquette University.

Andre is passionate about mentoring youth and committed to building solid community relationships. He is actively engaged in various organizations throughout the greater Milwaukee area. He serves as a board member for the Commercial Association of REALTORS®Wisconsin (CARW), is an Alumni Advisory board member for Forward48, is on the Advisory Council for Camp Whitcomb/Mason with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, and is a board member for the Mark HarrisFellowship Program.

Andre holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University.
