The Milwaukee Business Journal seeks nominations for its annual Real Estate Awards. This year, as well as recognizing the area’s top projects and deals, we’re introducing the Cornerstone award, which will honor a real estate executive who has shaped Southeast Wisconsin, from the ground up to the skyline.
Nominations will be accepted through Jan. 31, 2025.

Categories
Awards will be given in the following categories:
Cornerstone: Recognizes an individual who has had a lasting impact on the real estate scene in Milwaukee and the surrounding area. This person can be a developer, broker, agent, construction executive, banker, attorney or other major player in the real estate sector.
Top Construction: Awards will be given for new, ground-up building projects in the following categories:
- Industrial
- Multifamily
- Mixed-Use
- Office
- Retail
- Other
Top Renovation/Build-Out: Awards will be given for adaptive reuse projects, wholesale renovation or innovative interior construction that makes use of an existing structure in the following categories:
- Industrial
- Multifamily
- Mixed-Use
- Office
- Retail
- Other
A panel of real estate experts and MBJ editorial staff will judge all nominations. Winners will be featured in a special section to be published in April 2025 and will be honored at an April 17 awards event.
