See how she answered a few questions:
Q: What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A: I have been blessed to work with some awesome clients through the years in business consulting, and it is incredibly exciting to be able to help clients achieve their dreams in new ways. Whether it’s relocating an expanding company’s manufacturing, right-sizing an office space, or helping a budding entrepreneur open their first retail location, changing the lives of others for the better is what we do.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A: “Everybody needs to win” is a phrase my mentor and the co-owner of Bechard Group, Dennis Jochman has often used. More than just a phrase, seeing it in action when working with clients to make the deal work for all has been a great learning experience.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: The Diamond Rule: “You treat others as they wish YOU to treat them.”
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I grew up in the Campbellsport/Eden area of Wisconsin on a farm, my parents also worked in manufacturing. I have enjoyed living in the Fox Cities my entire adult life.
Q: What was cool you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A: Sun-tanning, neon everything, and cassette tapes…..
Q: What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A: I have traveled globally for work in a variety of places, Korea, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the U. S.. I have enjoyed them all, but as Dorothy says, “there’s no place like home”. The people, beauty, change in seasons, and business opportunities make Wisconsin an awesome place to be and travel to.
Q: What do you hope to get out of your membership with CARW?
A: 1) Stay up on current information on the commercial real estate environment
2) Continue to improve my skills
3) Network with others for potential opportunities
