Q: Which projects are you most excited about?
A: I am really excited about all of the development downtown over the last couple of years in general, but specifically given that I live on Commerce Street, I am really excited about the activation of that area – the Arena District, the continual advancement of the River Walk, and my two personal favorites, 1433 Water (The Laacke & Joys redevelopment) and The Forty Two, (The Pabst Shipping Center redevelopment).
Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: There are too many to name! Milwaukee’s restaurant scene is one of our city’s biggest assets and attractions, in my opinion. I love walking down 2nd Street in Walker’s Point and not being able to decide between all of the awesome spots to dine at!
Q: What Made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: I didn’t know anything about the Commercial Real Estate Industry until I met Paul Galbraith, who worked for Cresa at the time, and introduced me to their then-Managing Director, Steve Palec. Paul and Steve’s passion for the field was palpable, and I wanted to be a part of that. Now, I cant imagine doing anything else.
Q: What is your biggest takeaway from our NextGen Meetings?
A: I have learned a lot more than I ever expected to, from our NextGen meetings. The opportunity to be part of such a small group who gets direct access to such accomplished experts in each field is truly unique. I thought I would be sleeping through the engineering session, but I was totally captivated!
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: I might get some flak for this, but definitely Barack and Michelle Obama.
