Mr. Mattingly is a Transaction Manager at PACE Equity, leveraging his experience to successfully manage all central region transactions to a close. In his role, he is responsible for all facets of the 
commercial lending process – from the draft commitment to closing. His experience includes business consulting with state, city, and private funding sources to fill financing gaps in complex capital stacks for projects. Tate has worked extensively with other non-bank forms of financing such as TIF, special purpose grants, HTC’s, and various state and city forgivable loan programs.
Tate enjoys golfing, cycling, hiking, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
Q) What do you enjoy most about Commercial Real Estate?
A) The people. The variety of people I’ve met and worked with has reinforced the notion that all roads lead to Rome.
Q) What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A) I forget the whole bit but it was along the lines of “figure out the unspoken rules”. The jist is that everything is different in practice than in theory. Focus on what actually makes things tick, not what things appear to.
