Tami Gemmell Swanto is a dynamic entrepreneur and commercial real estate professional with a strong background in finance and business. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a
degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Accounting, she has been the owner of Azana Salon and Spa since 2000. In 2024, she expanded her expertise into commercial real estate sales, leasing, and business brokerage as an advisor with NAI Pfefferle.
Tami’s achievements include being recognized as a 2017 Bravo! Entrepreneur Award recipient and earning a spot among the Faces of Milwaukee from 2016 to 2019. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying Great Lakes and ice fishing, bowhunting, and snowmobiling. She is also a passionate baker and cook and has competed as an NPC bodybuilder, showcasing her dedication to health and fitness.

Q) What is your favorite place to travel to?
A) My husband and I traveled on our yacht from West Palm Beach Florida back to Milwaukee via the AICW, Chesapeake Deleware Bay, Hudson River, Erie Canal, Oswego Canal, Lake Ontario, Welland Canal, Lake Erie, Detroit River, Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. 3,000 Nautical Miles and 65 days on the move.
Q) What made you choose CRE?
A) I’ve been in business for 25 years owning a business and the commercial real estate that my business in which the business is housed.
Q) What is a goal you would like to accomplish within Commercial Real Estate?
A) I would like to help others sell their businesses and commercial real estate and to alleviate some of the unknowns and stress associated with that as I have been through the process and have an accounting, finance, and business education necessary for a broader understanding of valuation.
