Name: Rachel Steffen
Title: Sustainability Specialist
My name is Rachel, I currently work as a Sustainability Specialist at EUA’s Milwaukee office. I assist with sustainable design and development, my life’s passion! Building design and construction account for 40% of carbon emissions and waste created. My goal at EUA and in our industry is to lead the way to a more equitable and environmentally friendly future. By working in architecture, I assist building developers, owners, and operators make better decisions to make sustainable living a reality for all. Implementing sustainable factors into a building has never been easier but all involved hold a piece to the puzzle, so it is imperative we all work together. Sustainable design starts well before it reaches EUA’s doorstep, so I look forward to working with all of you! I am a resource for Green Building design, Whole Building Life Cycle Impact Analysis, Cove.tool, LEED, Green Globes, WELL, Fitwell, Sustainability and Real Estate Investing (my side passion!).
