I began working in commercial real estate finance in 2014 shortly after graduating from Carthage College. After my first 5 years in the financial industry, I decided to join Peoples State Bank and have been there ever since. Peoples was a new bank within the southeastern market of the state having built a legacy in the northern half.
Since coming on board I have seen the bank grow from $20 million in assets in this market to $250 million. The majority of this growth comes from commercial real estate loans. Being the new kids on the block we get the opportunity to see tons of different deals varying in size and scope.
