Q) What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A) I love the saying ‘Build it and they will come’ – when you successfully approach how you create a built environment and incorporate the right elements that allow people to prosper, you can ultimately create a vibrant, thriving community. I see more well designed buildings year after year!
Q) What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
A) Be yourself, everyone else is already taken. It’s so important to be genuine and comfortable in your own skin… to shine! Everyone is unique. It’s something to celebrate.
Q) What is your favorite quote?
A) To quote Bruce Lee, “It is not daily increase, but daily decrease, hack away the unessential.” In the crazy chaotic world, remember to keep it simple. Easier said than done.

A) Springfield, IL
Q) What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A) Tang! Do they still make that stuff?

A) So far, San Sebastian, Spain

Q) What made you choose commercial real estate?
A) To echo my answer to question #1, it’s exciting to see how a well-built environment can contribute to a vibrant community.
Q) What is a goal you’d like to accomplish in your commercial real estate career?
A) I’d like to do my part to increase interest and implementation of sustainable elements in projects requiring architectural engineering system design.
Q) What do you hope to get out of your membership with CARW?
A) Personally, I hope to strengthen my network of really great people. From an organizational standpoint, I’d love to have Harwood host a lunch and learn or social gathering with CARW!
