Q: What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A: I enjoy meeting new people in the industry and growing my sphere of influence. I have worked behind the scenes in the real estate industry for almost a decade, and I’m trying to enhance my real estate network as Keefe Real Estate and I continue our search for growth and prosperity.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A: Pay yourself first.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I grew up in North Lake, Wisconsin.
Q: What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A: The first things that popped into my head were bowl cuts, Tamagotchi’s and the resurgence of specialized Yo-yos. When I was in grade school, everyone had them. I don’t think bowl cuts were ever cool though.
Q: What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A: New Zealand has been my favorite location to date. My wife and I were over there for 3 weeks as part of our honeymoon, and I was not ready to come home. The hiking trails, active towns, food, and landscapes were second to none. Travel has been one of our biggest hobbies to culture ourselves. Although many of the places we have been are fantastic, I haven’t found a place yet that beats NZ.
Q: What do you hope to get out of your membership with CARW?
A: I’m hoping to network with more real estate professionals in the SE Wisconsin region. Although Keefe focuses on residential real estate as an agency, we have many projects that focus on the commercial side of the industry, as well as continue to work on larger scale residential construction projects.
