Q: What do you enjoy the most about commercial real estate?
A: I enjoy the challenges of putting a multi-faceted deal together. Coordinating and expediting the process with seller and buyer, inspectors and title, and even including the municipalities in many cases. The best part is visiting the new business a few months after the deal has closed to see what the new investor has done to maximize the property’s value.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A: It is not possible to over-communicate.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “What is it the Lord requires of you but to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly”
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I spent my childhood on a 60-acre family hobby farm in the small town of Aurora, WI. (about 100 miles North of Green Bay)
Q: What was cool you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A: MC Hammer Pants of course.
Q: What’s your favorite place to travel to?
A: I love to travel within the United States and to drive wherever we go. A recent trip to Mount Vernon and then through the Outer Banks has been our best trip to date.
Q: Which projects are you involved in/most excited about?
A: I was an Alderman for the City of Green Bay and had a part in many amazing projects that saw exponential growth in our downtown.
Q: What is a goal you would like to accomplish within your CRE career?
A: I’d love to be recognized as one of the top producers in Northeast Wisconsin.
Q: What made you choose Commercial Real Estate?
A: Residential Real Estate is pretty fun and a joy to bring buyers to homes. Commercial Real Estate provides different types of challenges that I love being involved in. Selling a house is fun but doesn’t bring the same sense of accomplishment pulling a Commercial Deal together brings.
Q: What do you hope to get out of your membership with CARW?
A: I’m expecting resources to help me continue to grow and to make connections with like-minded industry leaders.
