More than 250 Milwaukee-area real estate professionals came together Oct. 19 to honor the area’s top projects, including The Corners of Brookfield, southeastern Wisconsin’s first Ikea store and Master Lock Co.’s new corporate headquarters in Oak Creek. The Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin handed out its Deal of the Year awards at the event, along with honoring others in the real estate industry.
The annual awards also go to individuals, as well as projects. The head of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., Mark Hogan, took home the “CRE Impact” award. Busy real estate broker Jeff Hoffman of Cushman & Wakefield/Boerke Co. Inc. was named Realtor of the Year. Heather Turner Lothof Eppstein Uhen Architects was named Afilliate of the Year, and longtime Waukesha County parks and land use director Dale Shaver was named this year’s “Friend of CARW.”
