Previously working in investment sales with Marcus & Millichap, Sam specialized in industrial investment properties and gained experience in property valuation, market research, and client advisory. Before entering commercial real estate, he developed a strong foundation through roles in sales, property management, and his family’s painting business.
How did you get started in Commercial Real Estate?
I got started in CRE right out of college. I studied Business Administration and Real Estate Property Management at UW–Stout, then spent some time in property management and residential sales. After that, I launched my commercial career at Marcus & Millichap specializing in industrial investment sales, which really solidified my interest in the industrial and investment side of the business

Where did you grow up and how has it shaped who you are today?
I grew up in the Fox Valley. People here are hardworking, down-to-earth, and straightforward, and that’s influenced how I approach my career, being reliable, treating people right, and putting in the effort.

What projects are you currently working on or most excited about?
Excited to start with NAI Pfefferle and help them with their continued success in central Wisconsin.
Where’s your favorite place to travel—or a destination still on your bucket list?
Greece has been my favorite place I have been. I would love to go to Alaska someday.
Who would you love to have lunch with—past or present—and why?
I would love to have lunch with my Grandpa. I was 3 years old when he passed but I have heard lots of stories about him and I’d love a chance to sit down and hear them firsthand.
What do you hope to gain through your CARW membership?
Hoping to build relationships within the CRE community, stay plugged in with the market trends, and continue developing as a broker.

Spend more time listening than talking, you can pick up a lot from the people around you.
