I joined the Spring Bank Commercial Banking team in June 2025, bringing nearly 10 years of experience in business and retail banking, along with a background in internal auditing. As a Commercial Banking Officer, I’m responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing commercial banking relationships.
Outside of work, I support my husband’s heavy equipment and fleet maintenance business and serve as controller for a growing construction company. These roles allow me to stay closely connected to the operational side of small businesses and provide valuable insight into the challenges and needs of business owners.
How did you get started in Commercial Real Estate?
I kind of fell into Commercial Real Estate through banking. I started as a teller in high school, moved into personal banking and internal auditing, and somehow never left. My degree is in Sociology of Law, Crime, and Deviance — which has absolutely nothing to do with banking — but after college I took a commercial lending role and realized how much I enjoy working with business-minded people. Since then, I’ve even started investing in commercial real estate myself, so now I get to see it from both sides.
What is your favorite quote or personal mantra?
“Everything is figureoutable”
Where did you grow up and how has it shaped who you are today?
I grew up in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and was raised mostly by my dad. He really shaped who I am today — he taught me to work hard, be independent, and figure things out on my own. Those lessons have carried through in both my personal life and my career. Growing up in a small town also gave me a strong sense of community and a genuine appreciation for building real relationships, which is something I bring into my work every day.
What was considered “cool” when you were growing up that totally isn’t anymore?
I grew up in the country, just me and my dad, so a lot of things that felt cool back then definitely aren’t part of my day-to-day life anymore. It was cool to be the girl with a pickup truck bigger than the guys’, or the one with four-wheelers and dirt bikes. Now, I’m all about a practical car with heated seats… and one my dogs can ride around in with their heads out the window!
What do you hope to gain through your CARW membership?
Collaboration and connection. I’m excited to learn from experienced brokers, share ideas, and be part of shaping what the next generation of CRE in Wisconsin looks like – especially as new voices and small business owners change the landscape.
Any fun facts or advice you’d like to share with fellow CARW members?
Through my CARW membership, I’m really looking forward to connecting with others in the industry, making some great friends along the way, and getting more involved in Milwaukee’s commercial real estate scene. I’m excited to learn from others and contribute however I can to the community.
