How did you get started in Commercial Real Estate?
I was introduced to CARW throughout my first couple years in the architecture field. I attended events and began to grow my network and found myself really enjoying getting to know other industry professionals and learning more about commercial real estate.
What do you enjoy about working in CRE?
I enjoy working in commercial real estate because it allows me to be part of creating spaces that help organizations thrive. I value the collaborative nature of the industry and the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on the people and communities they serve.
What is your favorite quote or personal mantra?
Growth happens outside your comfort zone.
Where did you grow up and how has it shaped who you are today?
I grew up in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Since I moved there in 2010, it has grown significantly and continues to do so. Watching the area grow over the years sparked my interest in the built environment and the role development plays within the community. Living just outside of Madison sparked a love for cities too, especially cities integrated in nature and how they can allow communities to thrive within them.
What do you hope to gain through your CARW membership?
I’m looking forward to meeting people from all areas of the commercial real estate industry, learning more about the work that goes into successful projects, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I’m excited to hear others’ experiences, share my own, and become more involved in the industry and the local community.
