My name is Joe Coakley-Heuler. I am from Elm Grove Wisconsin and attended Brookfield East high School and Colorado State University for college where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I have recently started a sales position as a Workplace Consultant at Coakley Brothers and Brothers Interiors. Though I am new to the sales role I have been around Coakley Brothers for a long time. I first started at 13 spending two years working in the warehouse in during the summers. The proceeding five summers I spent working as a mover on the trucks in both residential and commercial relocation. After leaving Wisconsin to attend college in Colorado for four years I returned and went on to spend time in various internship roles. From January 2025 through August 2025 I returned to Coakley Brothers in the role of Construction and Facilities Coordinator. I have always had a passion to one day pursue sails and after now gaining experience in nearly every area of the organization and thrilled to begin my new role.
How did you get started in Commercial Real Estate?
I was first introduced to commercial real estate when working in multiple of Coakley Brothers warehouses. From there I was able to continually learn and form a better understanding of the commercial real estate business.
What do you enjoy about working in CRE?
One of my favorite things about working in CRE is knowing what is happening around the Greater Milwaukee Area. Being tapped into the CRE network often let’s be able to know many of the exciting changes going on around the city. Whether it is the development of a new building downtown, or the relocation or a large company to another area.
What is your favorite quote or personal mantra?
“Victory belongs to the most persevering”
Where’s your favorite place to travel—or a destination still on your bucket list?
Ireland and Italy are my favorite places to travel.
Who would you love to have lunch with—past or present—and why?
Winston Churchill. As one of histories greatest leaders and someone who faced unprecedented challenges I think it would be fascinating to have a conversation with him about perseverance in the face of tough situations.
