Q: What do you enjoy the most about Commercial Real Estate?
A: I love the flexibility – there are so many different facets of the industry to learn. aside from different asset classes like office, industrial, multifamily, retail, etc., you have to work with bankers, brokers, construction, architects, attorneys, engineers, municipalities, and more to get deals done. I’ve been able to gain an understanding of each of these industries through my work, which has made me a more well-rounded professional.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received?
A: You are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with – choose them wisely.
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: Joliet, Illinois. I moved here for college at Marquette, fell in love with MKE, and never came back!
Q: What was cool when you were growing up but isn’t cool now?
A: Well I was going to say pokemon but now I guess that’s cool again. I definitely fell victim to the highlighted hair fad of 2006, though…
Q: Which projects are you involved in/most excited about?
A: I get really excited about projects that bring Milwaukee to the main stage – Summerfest, ascent, and the Fiserv forum/entertainment district are a few great examples. I love Milwaukee and want everyone else to see how cool it is too!
