REALTORS® are on the front lines of this challenge and uniquely positioned to speak to how a lack of housing inventory and rising property taxes are constraining Wisconsin’s economy, workforce growth, and long-term competitiveness.
Throughout the day, we will advance practical, supply-side solutions that increase housing production and choice—including targeted WHEDA loan modifications, workforce housing TIDs, historic tax credits, and truth-in-planning reforms. We will also address policies that fail to deliver affordability, such as rent control, and why they undermine long-term housing outcomes.
This is a critical opportunity to ensure commercial and residential real estate perspectives are clearly represented in the policy decisions shaping Wisconsin’s future.
