We are so sad to learn of the passing of our dear friend and long-time CARW member, Bob Dennik. The following information is from his published obituary and from VJS Construction Services where he worked for many years.
Born to Eternal Life on February 4, 2023. Dear husband of Beth (nee Waldron) for 37 years. Loving father of Richard (Amanda) and Libby (Curtis). Proud G-Bob to Trevor and Jasper. Further loved by many relatives and countless friends. Throughout his life he made connections with many, many people, both personal and professional. He valued time spent with his family and was a very proud Father and Grandfather. Bob was an avid baseball fan, particularly a Brewers fan. He attended over 45 Brewers’ Opening Days and enjoyed going to as many games a year as he could. When not at a baseball game or watching one on TV, he often could be found on the golf course. He graduated from UWM with a bachelor’s degree and was the VP at VJS Construction Services, focusing on government affairs and business development. Bob was also extremely involved in many projects to help improve his community. From a young age, he had a deep interest and involvement in politics and the political process.
He served on the Milwaukee Aerotropolis, the Government Affairs Committee for the Milwaukee Commercial Association Realtors of WI (CARW) and the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) Government Affairs Committee. He is a former Alderman in the City of Wauwatosa, a former member of the Milwaukee County Research Park Board, the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center Board and the 30th Industrial Corridor Board.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or the World Orphan Fund (a charity he was very committed to), would be appreciated. Gathering at ST.
