Your Questions Answered – $10,000 Commercial Grants Program Available Now

The Main Street Bounceback Grants program provides $10,000 to new or existing businesses and non-profit organizations moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. CARW was recently approved to sign a letter of support for applying businesses.
This new program through the WEDC will have a great impact on commercial corridors, no doubt, but there are questions arising as applications are being filled. Join us on October 7th for a virtual session with WEDC Secretary Missy Hughes to answer all of your questions about the program. You may submit questions through the registration or by emailing tracy@carw.com
We encourage you to submit questions that you have in advance of the program. Sample questions include:
- How does the program work?
- How do I prepare my application for the Mainstreet Bounceback Grant?
- How quickly will funds be dispersed for the Mainstreet Bounceback Grant?
- Do I qualify for the Grant?
Funds can be used to pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location. The program is open to new or existing businesses opening a new location or expanding operations in a vacant commercial space as of January 1, 2021.
