Downtown Arena Development – harnessing the catalytic impact
March 24, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am
The downtown arena is the largest commercial real estate project in our State. New owners have put forth a vision as well as an exciting team in the Milwaukee Bucks. They have also set the stage for what will be one of the most catalytic and transformative projects in decades for our region. Legislators continue to work towards a funding model, and clarity on the specific site is imminent. The arena and ancillary development is said to be a $1B investment – introducing new companies, increasing property values, attracting tourists and residents, and encouraging vitality.
We will bring this panel of experts to discuss the catalytic effect that an arena will have on the surrounding area in the context of retail, office, multi-family, hotels and more.
We welcome the following:
– Dan Cohen, Mid-America Real Estate
– Bill Bonifas, CBRE
– Doug Nysse, Arrival Partners LLC
– Ted Matkom, Gorman
– Tony Barranco, Ryan Companies
