CARW Lunch & Learn – Triple Bottom Line Development

Kevin Newell, CEO for Royal Capital Group joins us for a conversation about Triple Bottom Line development. Kevin’s latest project is the ThriveOn Collaboration where he works with Greater Milwaukee Foundation (GMF), the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and others to bring housing, healthcare and social services to Milwaukee. The collaboration focuses on a foundational investment in commitment is reflected in the Collaboration’s foundational investment in ThriveOn King, the restoration and redevelopment of the iconic Gimbels-Schuster’s Department Store building in the Historic King Drive district.
Triple bottom line theory expands conventional business success metrics to include an organization’s contributions to social well-being, environmental health, and a just economy. These bottom line categories are often referred to as the three “P’s”: people, planet, and prosperity.
