The spring elections usually yield low-turnout and don’t always have statewide races associated with them. This year, there is one statewide race – and that is for Superintendent of Schools. That, alone, should be reason enough to find out more about what is on your ballot and make plans to vote. There are many school board and aldermanic races on the ballot as well as races for district judges – sometimes those smaller races are even more impactful to a voter’s day to day life. The election is April 6th but early in-person absentee voting began on March 23. Find out what is on your ballot and the polling place hours and location. If you have questions, please let us know!
