Downtown Milwaukee is in the midst of an unprecedented renaissance with more than $2 billion in new development underway, including the Northwestern Mutual corporate headquarters and the new arena for the Milwaukee Bucks and surrounding entertainment district. The momentum is making the city’s central business district more attractive to suburban firms looking for new space and the energy downtown provides. For the first time in the past several years, suburban firms are moving downtown Milwaukee. Will more follow as the development boom continues?
