CARW Announces 2026 NextGen Class
22 Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Pros selected for the program
(Milwaukee, WI) — Since its inception in 2018, CARW’s NextGen program has been dedicated to cultivating and empowering the next generation of commercial real estate leaders in Wisconsin. This 10-month experience is designed for professionals with fewer than five years in the industry and provides invaluable exposure to key sectors, mentorship opportunities, and lifelong connections. To date, more than 100 rising stars have graduated from the program—many of whom are now shaping the future of Wisconsin’s CRE community through leadership, innovation, and collaboration. “CARW NextGen is a fast-paced, information-packed initiative that gives participants access to the deal makers in the industry while exposing them to the various sectors within commercial real estate,” said Tracy Johnson, CARW CEO. “The program was developed to help our industry recruit and retain talent while also helping them accelerate their understanding of the people and processes.”
NextGen is built around two core components that offer a well-rounded experience for participants. The first is a series of monthly in-person meetings, where industry leaders from various sub-sectors of commercial real estate—such as attorneys, bankers, and brokers—share their expertise and insights. The second focuses on community engagement through activities like field trips, social events, and networking opportunities. “We’re excited to welcome the CARW NextGen Class of 2026 as they kick off this journey of growth and collaboration,” said Michael Testa, CCIM, Chair of the NextGen Committee. “NextGen continues to shape the future of commercial real estate by building connections, sharing ideas, and inspiring leadership. I can’t wait to see the energy and creativity this group brings to the industry!
Founded in 1993, the Commercial Association of REALTORS® Wisconsin (CARW) works to advance the interests of individual practitioners and the industry through education, professional development, public affairs & advocacy, professional standards & ethics, and business networking.
